About Us
Position U 4 College Coach Kris Hintz offers expertise in marketing, psychology and career development to help students and young adults discover and market their key strengths to colleges, graduate schools and target organizations in the workplace. |

Kris holds an MA in Organizational, Counseling & Social Psychology from Teachers College of Columbia University (1996), focusing on Career Development & Career Counseling. Kris earned an MBA in Marketing from The Wharton School (1980) and a BA in Psychology from University of Pennsylvania (1978), focusing on Child & Adolescent Development.
Kris has studied with the Institute for Life Coach Training and is a member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches and the National Association for College Admissions Counseling. She is currently enrolled in the UCLA Extension College Counseling Certificate Program. |
Kris has given college advice to students at Kent Place (Summit NJ), Pingry (Martinsville NJ), Montclair Kimberly Academy (Montclair NJ), Seton Hall Prep (West Orange NJ), and public high schools in NJ and NY.
Kris has helped students gain admission to undergraduate programs at such schools as Boston University, Bucknell University, Colby College, Connecticut College, Elon University, Emory University, Lafayette College, George Washington University, Hamilton College, McGill University, NYU, Northeastern University, Penn State, Providence College, Rutgers University, State University of NY, Syracuse University, The College of NJ, Tulane University, Union College, U Maryland, U Michigan, U Miami, U Rochester, Villanova University, and Wake Forest University. Kris has provided career guidance and resume services to college students or grads from Connecticut College, Cornell University, Drew University, Franklin & Marshall, Georgetown University, Johns Hopkins, Middlebury, NYU, Rhode Island School of Design, and USC. Kris has also helped young adults gain admission to graduate business programs at Yale, Northwestern (Kellogg), and U Virginia (Darden).
